computer forensics
As electronic evidence becomes vital to investigations, data needs to be handled to the highest possible standards if you’re to make a legal case.

If you copy a file from a computer, you may change its digital fingerprint forever - and that can make the difference between evidence that stands up in court and evidence that’s thrown out.

At Midwest Computer Forensic lab, we use state-of-the-art technology to take forensic images of PCs, laptops, mobile phones and any other devices that can hold critical data. And we ensure that all evidence has a clear ‘chain of custody’.

It means that none of our evidence is ever challenged or dismissed when we present it in the courtroom.

computer evidence

Deleted doesn’t mean it’s lost. And hidden doesn’t mean it can’t be found.

We go beyond the obvious, looking for crucial data in every possible location. We un-encrypt files, crack passwords and leave no file unexplored in the search for evidence.

And that’s what will give you the edge.

Handling Media

The media or computer hard drive, is replicated exactly through a bit by bit acquisition process, ensuring the integrity of the subject media is intact and preserved. Examiners from the Midwest Computer Forensic Lab will only work on the duplicate image ensuring that no contamination of the original data takes place.
